DIY Kid’s Art Tea Towels! 🖍🎨

Turn your kid’s art into custom fabric! We will show you how to use our free online creator tool to make your very own custom fabric with your kid’s beautiful art! 🖍🎨

When uploading any image that is not already a graphic we always recommend scanning in the image. This will insure the image has no shadowing or color variation. Once your image is uploaded you save it as a .JPEG, . PNG, or .TIFF file, other file types are not compatible with our software.We decided to scan in this fun Flamingo hand print image and have it printed on our Heavy Cotton Twill!

Once your new custom fabric arrives at your doorstep you can begin making your tea towels! Follow along below with step by step sewing instructions! 🖍

Step 1: Cutting the fabric

First you will need to cut out your new design. Simply cut around your design, giving you your 18″x 29″ square. Clip the corners of your rectangle about ½”.

Step 2: Prepping the fabric

Now you will turn each edge over towards the wrong side of the fabric ¼” and press.

Then you will turn it over once more ¼” press and pin.

Step 3: Sewing The fabric

Once you have your fabric prepared you will edge stitch along your folded edge and around the entire rectangle. Making sure to back stitch at the beginning and end.

All Done, it is really that easy and now you have turned your children’s art into masterpieces for all to enjoy!
