DIY Spooky T-Shirt!

Boo! Halloween will be here before we know it. We wanted to make a cute top inspired by one of our favorite Halloween movies, Hocus Pocus!! See how we made this fun T-Shirt below.

We used our handy dandy Creator Tool to make the design for our T-shirt watch below to see how it was done!

We chose to have our design printed on Polyester Slub Jersey. Our Polyester Slub Jersey is a 100% polyester single knit fabric with a slub texture, soft hand and fluid drape. It is a stretchy knit with 50% stretch in the crosswise grain and excellent recovery.

Next, we used one of our favorite free T-Shirt patterns to sew it all together. You can find the pattern here or use your own favorite T-shirt pattern. Just make sure you leave enough room for the pattern when creating your design!

Also, be careful when you center the design. To achieve a perfect center we folded the fabric in the middle of our design and cut the front out on the fold.

Since we chose to make this top with a knit fabric we used our serger to sew up the seams and a double needle to finish the hems! If you don’t have a serger that’s ok, just use a zigzag stitch when sewing the seams!

This project is sew easy and great for your Halloween wardrobe! Get creating today and save 20% from now until September 21st with code 20spooky at checkout!
