DIY Embroidery Patches

School time is just about here! Make sure your kids know what’s theirs by making their supplies one of a kind with embroidery patches using your own custom fabric!

We decided to use the fun Hello Motorcycles print by sas276.

We then added the initials we wanted and uploaded them onto our embroidery machine! Next, we hooped our fabric with some tearaway stabilizer and stitched out our design!

Then, we turned our embroidery design into a patch! It is super easy first we removed our tearaway stabilizer from our embroidery design. Then we ironed on our patch attach fusible adhesive, keeping the parchment paper intact.

We then trimmed the rest of the fabric away leaving only the patch!

You can add these patches to all their school stuff! Backpacks, pencil bags, book covers etc. All you have to do is remove the parchment baking and iron it on!

Patches are the perfect way to embroider those hard to reach places on your machine!
